We seem to be a nation of worriers. Stress heads. Walking bags of anxiety. A recent survey found that 85% of UK residents regularly feel stressed out. These days there's a lot to worry about.
But nowadays, dental treatment really doesn't need be one of them. Dentistry has moved on leaps and bounds since those dark old days of the school dentist.
However, we understand the genuine fear and anxiety some patients may have, so we have come up with some advice that we hope will help.
Don't put off booking that appointment!
Don't leave it until you are in pain to book an appointment with us. By attending regularly we can diagnose any issues early and nip them in the bud with some straightforward, simple treatment, reducing your risk of developing toothache. Regular visits also help you become more familiar with the practice which can help reduce your stress levels. It may also be useful to book appointments first thing in the morning to avoid feeling anxious all day.
